December 2005
We got a bit of snow in December and it is a good job we took a picture of it because no one would believe we ever had snow. This year it has been a funny winter, unusually warm, not much snow and the kids have only had one snow day compared to the 19 or so last year.
November 2005
Everyone visits North Rustico where the magic of Christmas comes alive in every heart, and yard. Maritime Electric gets a bonus for the number of kilowatts used per day. If you have seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, it's great, but nothing compared to A Christmas in North Rustico, P.E.I.
October 2005
On September 27, 2005 Stephenville Newfoundland was declared a disaster area with more that 150 homes affected. Being a volunteer with the Red Cross in P.E.I., I was asked to go and help. You are in our thoughts and prayers victims of Stephenville.

Thanks to the generosity of the guests at our B&B, we raised over $250 during the 25th anniversary of the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope held on the Confederation Bridge. Come see the pictures.

A distant tail end of hurricane Katrina breaking flower stems making the bulb stronger for next year. Katrina broke a lot more on its path and it will take more than a year to rebuild. New Orleans is in our thoughts and in our prayers. Monday August 29,2005.
